Annual Seacoast Environmental Film Festival
The Seacoast Environmental Film Festival is going kid-friendly!
Join us 9:30-12:30 at the Kittery Community Center STAR Theatre.
A beloved and highly successful day-long event, the Seacoast Environmental Film Festival returns to the Kittery Community Center STAR Theatre with a fresh focus on inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards. In years past, the festival has brought together Seacoast-area environmentalists, activists, educators, and film lovers to engage with award-winning documentaries exploring critical environmental issues that are both globally important and locally relevant.
This year, we’re excited to reimagine the festival for kids and families. The event will feature screenings of engaging, age-appropriate environmental films, paired with hands-on, environmentally themed activities and crafts designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and conversation. In place of traditional exhibitors and panel discussions, young attendees will have opportunities to learn through play, art, and interactive exploration.
By blending powerful storytelling with fun, accessible activities, the Seacoast Environmental Film Festival invites kids to connect with nature, understand the world around them, and feel empowered to care for the planet.
Join us for a day of films, creativity, and inspiration as we celebrate environmental awareness and plant the seeds for a more sustainable future.
Free. All are welcome! Suggested donation of $5/person or $20/family of 4 or more.
