On December 15, 2020, Kittery Land Trust permanently protected a 30-acre property tucked away in the center of the community, just steps from the town’s middle school on Stevenson Road.
Instead of a 7-home subdivision, the fertile fields and woodlands of a former dairy farm have become a hub for local agriculture, education, and outdoor recreation. Nooney Farm amplifies the Trust’s work “Saving Land and Building Community”.
The 30-acre property is tucked away in the center of the community, just steps from the town’s middle school located at 22 Stevenson Road. Nooney Farm is a beautiful tapestry of open farm fields and wooded uplands, with a large wetland that feeds into nearby Spruce Creek.
