KITTERY LAND TRUST PROPERTIES

"The Point" at Seapoint Beach, 2.7 acres of oceanfront, was donated to the Kittery Land Trust in February 1998 by Eliot Hubbard III and Margaret Hubbard in memory of Rosamond Thaxter. A baseline report on the property was prepared by Neil Jorgensen in August 2002. Regular monitoring of the property is done by various members of KLT, which has also conducted a number of walks open to the public.

The first KLT Clambake, in 2002, was held at Seapoint, preceded by a walk around the property. The photographs below show various members of KLT, including Margaret Hubbard, in the front of the left-hand photograph, with Neil Jorgensen (L) and Bill Paarlberg (R).
