Come join us to explore the great natural areas of Kittery! The
land trust is hosting a series of walks throughout the summer.
Join community volunteers on leisurely walks through our public
properties to see a side of Kittery you may not know. Please only
two-legged creatures on these walks, and be sure to check our web
site for directions, rain dates, recommended wear, and other details.
May 9 • 9 am: Remick Preserve - Guided Tour
June 20 • 9 am: Fairchild Easement - Tour our latest
conservation achievement.
July 16 • 5 pm: Chauncey Creek/Brave Boat Harbor
Enjoy a sunset paddle along the shores of the Fairchild
easement and the Rachel Carson National Wildlife
Refuge. Bring your own boat. Weather-dependent so
please check the website.
August 1 • 9 am - A Walk in Armstrong and Patten lands.
September 12 • 9 am- Bird Watching at Seapoint
Beach: Dave Tucker, Kittery Point resident and past
president of the NH Seacoast Audubon Society, will lead
a walk through the marsh and KLT property.
September 13 • 2 pm - KLT Clambake and Annual
Meeting at Fort Foster, guest speaker to be announced

July 24/25 • Piscataqua Garden Club hosts a tour of
ten spectacular Kittery Point gardens. Proceeds of the
tour will benefit Kittery Land Trust and the Strawberry
Banke Victory Garden.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
KLT is undertaking a number of land stewardship programs this
year and volunteers are sought for a range of outdoor and indoor
activities. Please let us know if you have even a few hours of time to
contribute! Join a property monitoring walk, help manage invasive
species, build a wetland boardwalk or new trail kiosk, research
property and land use data. It is great exercise and great for our
